مفهوم الصَّوم يقصد بالصَّوم في اللُّغة: الإمساك مطلقاً عن الطّعام، والشّراب، والكلام، والنّكاح، والسَّير، وقال الله تعالى في حكايةٍ عن مريم عليها السَّلام: (إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ لِلرَّحْمَنِ صَوْمًا فَلَنْ أُكَلِّمَ الْيَوْمَ إِنْسِيًّا)[١]، ومصطلح الصَّوم مصدر للفعل صَامَ يَصُومُ صَوْمًا وَصِيَامًا.[٢]. أما الصَّوم اصطلاحاً: هو الإمساك عن المفطرات منذ طلوع الفجر وحتى غروب الشَّمس.[٣] حكم صوم رمضان صوم شهر رمضان واجبٌ في الكتاب، والسُّنة، والإجماع، فأمَّا الكتاب: فقال الله تعالى: (شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِي أُنزِلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَاتٍ مِّنَ الْهُدَىٰ وَالْفُرْقَانِ ۚ فَمَن شَهِدَ مِنكُمُ الشَّهْرَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ ۖ )[٤]، أمَّا السُّنة: فقال الرّسول صلّى الله عليه وسلّم: (إنَّ الإسلامَ بُنِيَ على خَمسٍ، شَهادةِ أنَّ لا إلَه إلَّا اللَّهُ، وإقامِ الصَّلاةِ، وإيتاءِ الزَّكاةِ، وصيامِ رمضانَ، وحَجِّ البيتِ)[٥] وأجمعت الأمّة على أنَّ صيام شهر رمضان واجبٌ، وأنَّه ركنٌ من أركان الإسلام، وأنَّ منكره كافرٌ مرتدٌّ عن الإسلام.[٦] شروط وجوب صوم رمضان يجب أن تتوافر بالشّخص أربعة
